Tarapoto Lake: Dolphins, Fishing, and Land

We will visit the most important wetland system in the region, navigating by artisanal boat to enjoy this protected ecosystem. This is a resting and fishing area for Pink and Gray River Dolphins. We will have the opportunity to swim in the lake’s dark waters, a truly special experience. If you wish, you can also try a bit of artisanal fishing. On the way back to the refuge, we will admire the surrounding vegetation, the ‘walking tree,’ and the majestic representative trees of the area.
